Swan Lake is a reference to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's 1877 ballet of the same name, in which a swan swims in a lake of tears during the day, and is a human by night. Bladee either seems to mistake the eponymous Swan Lake ballet as an 'on ice' dance, given his lyrics' many references to winter and freezing, or suggests he is unable to be liberated like the swan that dances on the lake now that the lake has frozen over.
