"Supernatural” is the main title track to NewJeans' first Japanese double-single “Supernatural”. Lyrically, “Supernatural” sees the members sing about romance and falling in love, specifically under a cool night’s sky. Sonically, the song is chill and funky, featuring mellow synths and groovy claps, reminiscent of NewJeans' July 2022 release “Attention”, also produced by South Korean producer and DJ 250. Yet, there is a prominent retro dance influence in “Supernatural”, reflective of Pharrell Williams' signature style.
