As the name suggests, “Subwoofer Lullaby” carries out its melody as soft and calming as an actual lullaby would entail, while also including glitches and reverb that an electronic device, like a subwoofer, would produce. Even more interesting is the description of the song that C418 listed on their website, stating that the inspiration for it was the thought of “a big speaker somewhere far far in a forest blasting this odd little melody”. Knowing the landscape of Minecraft, it’s not a mystery how this piece came to be included.
