“Stella Was a Diver and She Was Always Down” seems to draw inspiration from The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. In the book, one of the main characters has sex with a girl named Stella in a submarine under the ocean. Also, the name of the submarine is called “Leif Erikson” which is also the name of another track that appears later in the album.
