The Star Spangled Man is a song performed by Captain America/Steve Rogers & the Star Spangled Singers in Captain America: The First Avenger (movie), and composed by Alan Menken and David Zippel. The film itself credits Michael Kosarin as conductor, vocal arranger and song arranger, Doug Bosterman as orchestrator and song arranger, and Martin Erskine as song arranger as well. The performance is used to get civilians to buy war bonds. Steve is at first reluctant about taking the stage, as he had hoped to be on the battlefield, aiding the fight.
