Being one of the first pieces performed by the English supergroup, “Standing Next To Me”, tells the story of a love triangle, where the song’s narrator struggles to accommodate to the particular arrangement he finds himself in. Released as one of the singles for The Last Shadow Puppets' debut album, it was one of the songs Miles Kane penned down before he got together with Alex Turner.
