Special Cases first appeared on Massive Attack's album 100th Window (released in February 2003). Vocals: Sinéad O'Connor. Written by Robert Del Naja, Neil Davidge and Sinéad O'Connor. It was released as the first single from the album in February 2003, reaching #15 in the UK Singles Chart. There are two versions of the music video for Special Cases: one starting from the perspective of the man and the other from the woman's point of view. Both videos show the lifespan of these individuals with one being in reverse order.
