"Space Cowboy" is the international lead single from British funk and acid jazz band Jamiroquai's second studio album, The Return of the Space Cowboy (1994). The title track celebrates lead singer Jason Kay’s first love: marijuana. It even shows up in the single cover artwork. His muse is so powerful, it makes him feel like he’s in space, as he ensures the other participant that he/she will soon arrive there also.
