"Sombra De Ti" is a song composed by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira from her album titled ¿Dónde están los ladrones? The song is about Shakira describing the pain and emptiness she feels after her relationship with her boyfriend as if it were a shadow of her haunting her. In 1999 Shakira sang this song as part of her MTV Unplugged performance of hers. Before singing it, she said: "This song was born at four in the morning in a recording studio, with the lights off and a broken heart."
