Soldier is a song on Trixie Mattel's second studio album, One Stone. It's a folk album, focused on personal matters surrounding her life. In an interview, Trixie said about the song soldier "‘that’s about someone who [is] militant, they’re a soldier, everything has to be about work and they can’t relax. And I’m a psychopath who only wants to work at all times. So that’s me, that’s about me."
