Social Outcast was one of those songs that seemed to write itself, it was written, recorded and put on Myspace in less than 4 hours. The song is about a friend who just does not fit in to what is going on around them. When people don’t understand someone, and don’t take the time or trouble to find out about a person, that person can become isolated, a social outcast. The person in question lived in a very deprived part of town where a certain code of behaviour was expected.
