“Skyless” by Garlagan was originally released on Newgrounds on October 31st, 2014 as a Newgrounds Audio Death Match finals entry that gave him 1st winner place in the yearly competition. It then appeared on his debut "Impulse EP" and eventually his debut album "00". The lyrics delve into themes of identity, loss, and the transient nature of time. It introduces the metaphor of time as clouds in the sky and a sense of time slipping away or being wasted.
