"Six Years Later" was written by "You" (Joe Ray) Brian sings and plays melodic fingerpicking guitar Joe plays rhythm guitar and does the lead guitar solo Dave plays bass and plays the fake string part (really wishing he had a Mellotron) Dave and Joe do the harmonies (which somewhat contrast the downbeat lyric) An early version of this song featured a pump organ sound instead of the "strings" but thankfully this fell by the wayside as the sessions for the record progressed...
