“Sims” is the fifth single of Lauv’s album "~how i’m feeling~". He described the song as being about “meeting the right person at the wrong time”. The song was first performed during his Blue Boy Asia Tour in May 2019, and was officially released on October 3, 2019. A short film of the song was released on October 28, 2019 and Lauv said the following: "'This music video means everything to me. it explains the whole concept of the album and the different characters. making it took my entire soul… plus it’s also pretty funny."'
