Darius Yavorski's rendition of the traditional song "Silent Night" was recorded at Cat Tale Studios in Pringle, PA USA in mid 2002. The instrument played was a mbira very heavily effected with digital delays. A mbira is a traditional African thumb piano. "Silent Night" (German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht") is a popular Christmas carol. The original lyrics of the song "Stille Nacht" were written in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria, by the priest Father Joseph Mohr and the melody was composed by the Austrian headmaster Franz Xaver Gruber.
