"Shoes of Lightning" is a song by Dutch rock band Racoon, released on 25 November 2013. The track was written specifically for the annual Dutch charity event Serious Request, organized by radio station NPO 3FM. That year, the campaign aimed to combat child mortality caused by diarrhea, a preventable condition that still claims numerous lives worldwide. The song served as the official anthem for the 2013 edition of the fundraiser, which took place in Leeuwarden.
