“See Thru” is the 7th track on Staind’s debut album Tormented. The song's meaning is tough to decipher (as is with most Staind songs) but the main thing that can be drawn from the lyrics is that the singer/character is dealing with a narcissist (most likely a parent or a close relative.) Initially, the narcissist had been able to gaslight the character, bringing him to the cusp of insanity. But the singer at some point realizes the narcissist’s “shtick” and what they’re all about and gets revenge.
