Grimes stated through her Twitter that this is perhaps the darkest track on the album. This song is unique in that it is fully produced by Claire Boucher but only features vocals from female Taiwanese rapper, Aristophanes. “SCREAM” premiered as the second promotional song from Grimes' fourth album Art Angels. The lyrics are spoken in Mandarin Chinese, and the English translation, which is on Grimes' Tumblr, is included in the annotations of this song.
