"Scream" was released as the second single from 2NE1's japanese album "Collection". In addition, it was the group's first original Japanese song. The song's lyrics were written by Japanese rapper Verbal. A remix of the song was released digitally on March 14, 2012 on Recochoku before the single itself was released on March 28, 2012. The b-side is a Japanese version of their debut Korean single, "Fire". "Scream" is the lead single of the group's first full-length Japanese album, Collection.
