“Scrawny” was written whilst Wallows were in the studio recording their other songs from debut album "Nothing Happens", making it one of the newest songs of the collection. It is the second single off the LP. The band explained the writing process: "We were just about to go on a two week break from recording, before another week or so to wrap things up.
