She is best known as a former producer at Hot 97, where she worked for ten years, and later on as a former co-host on State of the Culture. She currently co-hosts the Black Girl Podcast. In awe of being named in a song title on the "Alfredo" album, Scottie acknowledged this feature on her Instagram page on its release day.
