“Scenery” is a song that Gary Valentine wrote during his time in the band Blondie. It was intended to be included on the band’s 1976 debut album Blondie but ended up being scrapped since it did not fit with the album’s theme and Gary was not satisfied with singer Debbie Harry’s vocals on the track. He decided to record his own version of the song along with “(I’m Always Touched By Your) Presence, Dear”.
