"Safe" was a surprise drop by Young Thug on February 23, 2017 and was officially released on streaming platforms on October 3, 2025 on the deluxe version of his fourth studio album, UY SCUTI. In this track, Thugga talks about many of the insecurities that are overshadowed by his public reputation. Often finding himself in the spotlight for various reasons, whether positive or negative, Young Thug proves that he has more going on underneath the surface than we realize. The track is Thug's first release since 2016’s JEFFERY mixtape.
