"Runaway" was released on February 9, 2015 on SoundCloud and on February 16, 2015 for digital download and streaming as the lead single from AURORA's debut extended play, Running With The Wolves, and from her debut album, All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. Its music video, directed by Kenny McCracken and shot during January 31 to February 2, 2015, in Bergen, Norway, was released on February 27, 2015, with a limited premiere on February 26. AURORA wrote the song when she was 11-12 years old for a school assignment
