““Rosy” is another love song, but the thing that feels dark about it is the fact that it’s based on the high of being in a relationship. It came from the idea of only seeing through these rose-colored glasses. There’s something really beautiful about when you first start dating someone, that quote-unquote honeymoon phase, which I don’t even necessarily believe in. Even now in my relationship, I’ll catch myself only finding joy when I’m with that person or only experiencing being a hundred percent myself with that person.
