All that can be said about this gem is that although it may lack the depth of "true blues", it is certainly representative of a valid attempt at the soul and spirit behind the genre. On a more positive note, it represents a transition from blues to rock and is a pioneer class, more so than say Led Zeppelin or The Rolling Stones. This style has a let it all hang down" feel.
