The Bamboos are an Australian funk and soul band from Melbourne. Formed in 2000, they are known for their authentic revival and innovative take on the classic funk and soul music of the 1960s and 70s. The band has been instrumental in the resurgence of the funk genre, infusing it with modern sensibilities while staying true to the roots of the sound. "Ride on Time" is not one of their original titles, but rather a cover of the famous song by the Italian dance music band Black Box, which was a massive hit in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
