"Reggae Night" is a 1983 single written by La Toya Jackson and Amir Bayyan. Reggae artist Jimmy Cliff included the song in his album The Power and the Glory. It became an international hit, reaching #2 in France and South Africa, #3 in the Netherlands, and #1 in New Zealand.
