Any victim of the police brutality or gang violence will always be remembered. The song could also be perceived in a way that only the strongest will survive. Years later, the song (especially MC Ren’s intro line), has been interpolated by numerous rappers including 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole as a reminder on the strength of the black community.
