Ratatay is a song about George Melly, an English jazz musician, surrealist and eccentric who used to tell a great story about being confronted one night by knife-wielding robbers outside the Band On The Wall jazz club (http://www.last.fm/venue/9076675+Band+on+the+Wall) in Manchester. He stood his ground and, in a flash of inspiration, began to recite "Ursonate", one of Kurt Schwitters' Dadaist sound-poems. The robbers ran off, shocked and scared. Starring Phil Moody on vocals ("Fümms hö wö tää zää Uu...") and Jo Freya on saxophone.
