“Rainbow,” a song that dodie originally shared on YouTube back in June 2018, is a song about the shame that is put upon people who are a part of LGBTQ+ and shares that they shouldn’t feel shameful of who they are. The song was posted during Pride Month at the time in support of LGBTQ+ people, whom she identifies with as well. On December 11, 2020, the official version of “Rainbow” was released as a single for dodie’s debut album "Build A Problem"
