"Praying for Time" is a song written, produced, and performed by singer/songwriter George Michael, released on August 13, 1990. It was the lead single from his second solo album, Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 (1990), spending a week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1990, making it Michael's seventh #1 in the US and his last solo single to top the chart. "Praying for Time" also reached #1 in Canada, becoming Michael's penultimate #1 solo hit there.
