"Police on My Back" is a song written by Eddy Grant (born 5 March 1948) , a Guyanese-British musician. It appeared on the 1969 album "Baby, Come Back" by British group "The Equals" (founded by Grant). British band "The Clash" featured the track on their 1999 album "Sandinista!".
