The song was originally called “Who Do You Think You Are?” and was played live at Mayhem Festival 2009. The title and lyrical content were changed later on as the band’s producer at the time, Don Gilmore, simply didn’t like the song – according to Matt Tuck on the Fever Track by Track Commentary. “Pleasure And Pain” is the 5th track from Bullet For My Valentine’s 2010 album, Fever.
