Passion is the thirteenth and final track on ULTRA BLUE, the fourth album by 宇多田ヒカル (Utada Hikaru). It was also released as her 15th single on December 14, 2005. Passion's English-language counterpart is Sanctuary, which was released as a bonus track on Utada's second Engish album This Is The One. Passion's music video was filmed in China by her then-husband 紀里谷和明 (Kazuaki Kiriya). The animation segment in the beginning of the video was created by 森本晃司 (Koji Morimoto)
