Particle Man is the seventh song off They Might Be Giants' 1990 album Flood. Although it was never released as a single, it has become one of the band’s best known songs, in part because of the creation of a Tiny Toons video based on it. John Linnell, the song’s author and one of the members of the band denied the assertion that there is a deeper meaning to the song, which describes four different beings: Particle Man, Triangle Man, Universe Man, and Person Man.
