“Over You” sees Australian rapper and singer The Kid LAROI hurt after a past relationship. He details his hopelessness, desperation for support, and negative attitude to his former partners over a melodic instrumental with high-flying harmonies. The song was originally expected on LAROI’s July 2020 mixtape, F*CK LOVE, but many were surprised to see its absence from the final tracklist. It was soon after played in its entirety during an Instagram Live conducted by Khaled Rohaim
