Outsider is a cover of the song originally preformed by The Ramones. It's origins appear on Green Day's 2000 "Warning" single, being a B-side on many versions of the single such as the second CD, the Australian version combining the Warning and Minority single, and the 7" Adeline Records single. It is also the first cover and fourth overall track to appear on their compilation album, Shenanigans, and one of the few songs in which Mike Dirnt sings lead for a time, singing the bridge.
