Ordinary World is the closing track on Green Day's twelfth studio album, Revolution Radio. It was originally written as the soundtrack for a movie of the same name, which starred Billie Joe Armstrong, but was put on the album as the official closer, serving as a somewhat continuation of Forever Now. In context of the Ordinary World movie, the song reflects on a character who never made it big in the punk-rock industry, but still holds onto those dreams as he lives an ordinary life.
