"One More Day" was written by drummer Bill Stevenson about his relationship with his father. He had a very strained relationship with his father but attempted to remedy it by caring for him in his last year of life, becoming his caretaker while he was ill. The relationship remained strained, and the sentiment of "one more day" comes from Stevenson wishing he had one more day with his father, as he placed him in a retirement home where he died just a few days later.
