From his 1995 album Me Against the World Some tracks, such as "Old School," lean more to the nostalgic, though somewhat bittersweet side in Shakur's remembrance of his youth and the early days of hip hop music Tupac is paying his respects to those that came before him in hip hop and paved the way for him.
