The farm on Wilson Rd was originally owned by a man named Wilson but was purchased by Harry Davis. It has become known as the "Old Davis Farm" to many who have lived there and worked the fields and the dairy farm for Harry Davis. Many families lived there over the years. The song "Old Davis Farm" was written by Robert Comer of the Marion Comer family who originated along with his brothers and sisters from Troutdale, Va. The Marion Comer family lived there twice and at least six of Comer's children was born there.
