Ozric Tentacles (commonly referred to simply as "The Ozrics") are a group with a singularly unique sound. There are no other bands like them. Nonetheless, many have attempted to pidgeon-hole them into familiar catagories like psychedelic and progressive rock. Meeting in 1984 at the Stonehenge Free Festival, the Ozrics drew upon a broad range of influences from classic analog electronica to jazz-rock fusion to middle-eastern music, managing to distill
