"I read a news story about a group of fans who were causing trouble aboard a Sealink ferry going from Holland to Dover. One young fan was on LSD and climbed on a railing at the back of the ship. As he began to dance, he lost his footing and fell into the sea. His body was never found. I wrote this song because I used to take so much LSD in the old days that I inevitably found myself taking extaordinary risks, similar to this news story. The newspaper only stated the facts.
