The Betrayal album was one of the first releases after John Wardell (a.k.a. Jah Wobble) left a band called the Human Condtion in wich he played after being in PIL. The main characteristic of Wobble's bass playing was hitting the ultra-low notes, if you were into dub this album was a milestone, Adrian Sherwood (of On-u Sound fame) must have been eating his heart out. These low notes were really more than any (semi) high-end sound system could handle.
