“New N3on” (originally dubbed “Neon”) is the 13th track on Playboi Carti’s sophomore studio album, Whole Lotta Red. The song is the fourth officially released collaboration between Carti and Philadelphia-based producer Maaly Raw, following “Left Right” with Lil Uzi Vert, “Of Course We Ghetto Flowers” with Lil Uzi Vert and Offset, and “Shoota,” in order of recording. Maaly Raw created and previewed the instrumental for this song in an Instagram live video in late 2018.
