“New Flesh” is the fifth song off of Wild Heart, originally released by Nick Rattigan under the pseudonym TELE/VISIONS. Compared to some of the songs on the record, the lo-fi effect creates a nostalgic and somber mood. The title most likely refers to the 1983 film, Videodrome, in which the character Max Renn delivers the line: “Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!” It is perhaps best known for its use by an Internet personality named Emma Grier
