1984 Cover of "Nsu" By Jack Bruce In the autumn of 1964, Brian May and Dave Dilloway formed a rapidly evolving band, which eventually settled with a line-up of bassist John βJagβ Garnham, drummer Richard Thompson, and harmonica-playing vocalist Tim Staffell. After rejecting names such as the Mind Boggles and Bod Chappy & the Beetles, the quintet named themselves after George Orwell's futuristic novel, β1984β. From 1967, is 1984's professionally recorded Thames Television demo tape.
