Having two songs named “Mudshuvel”, Staind released this version on their self-released album Tormented in 1996. The second (and more popular version) was released on the album Dysfunction three years later. Both songs are very similar. The biggest differences are the spelling, production, double bass, and less screaming. Both songs have the same meaning also. Being in a one-sided relationship where one person has hurt the other somehow.
