Recording and Composition "Moving Away" is a psychedelic blues song with very prominent dub reggae elements. The entire song revolves around three chords, G, Bm and Am, though due to tape speed manipulation, it may not be in the intended key. The lead vocals are sung by Gene Ween. Alternate Versions The version that appears on the Big Timmy Wasserman demo tape is the same recording used on the Pod album. Live Performances "Moving Away" has never been played live by Ween.
